Memorial Auditorium - We need to restore Memorial Auditorium to a modern, functioning community space. The building is one of Burlington’s historic treasures and is worth saving. However, it needs to be upgraded to meet the needs of today’s users by ensuring handicap accessibility, constructing a functional loading dock, and installing current technology for live performances. We need to be mindful not to “over improve” the space or overburden taxpayers.  The City has recently created an RFP seeking a public private partnership to renovate and reuse Memorial.
